October is Filipino American History Month! Celebrate with FANHS throughout the USA

After decades of advocacy led by the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS) and friends, the U.S. Congress and Senate passed resolutions making October Filipino American History Month in 2009.   See additional links to FANHS Chapter activities via
NEWS FLASH for October 2011

On October 5, 2011 The Senate adopted the following by unanimous consent:
·         A resolution designating October 2011 as “Filipino American History Month”. (S.Res. 287)
