Congrats to FANHS San Diego for its August 21 book launch!! http://asianjournalusa.com/book-launch-of-filipinos-in-san-diego-p9277-76.htm

Founded in 1982, the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS) documents and promotes Filipino American history through its archives, conferences, books, programs, films, art and more. With 28 Chapters throughout the USA, FANHS initiated the observance of October as Filipino American History Month. Please also see http://fanhs-national.org and FANHS pages on Facebook. For many years, former FANHS National President Dr. Gil Pilapil has assumed responsibility for the publication of the FANHS Journal. Each volume is a collection of both scholarly and community based research presented at various national conferences of FANHS. All of us at FANHS are very thankful for Dr. Pilapil's generous contributions and fundraising for this project.
